This is a vintage stitch design, and is made so that the pattern around the fabric is more visible. This is designed to have a unfinished look, and will no way affect the quality. You may see a few loose threads after the first washing or two, and will help it make a more raggy design on the outside edges of the letters. They can be trimmed with a scissors.
All embroidered items have a soft mesh backing to cover stitching on the underside of the garment, to protect thread from rubbing or causing discomfort.
Made is a smoke free and pet free home.
